The Tennessee Registry of Election Finance Board Continues Its Investigation of Williamson Strong

The Tennessee Registry of Election Finance board has now held two hearings in connection with WCS Board Member Susan Curlee’s ethics complaint against Williamson Strong. At the March 11 full hearing, the board decided to defer action until April so that it can further investigate Williamson Strong’s activities and connections. Despite proclamations of innocence, and co-founder Jennifer Smith calling Ms. Curlee’s complaint a “witch hunt,” the six-member board apparently found a few brooms in Williamson Strong’s closet.
